Listings policy
A listing on this website does not mean we endorse, certify, regulate, or guarantee the organisation. Users should contact services directly and ask about registration, qualifications, fees, availability, and suitability before engaging.
Who can be listed
- South African rehabs, clinics, NGOs, shelters, harm-reduction services, support groups, and qualified therapists.
- Services must be operating lawfully in South Africa.
- Healthcare professionals must be registered with the relevant council (HPCSA, SACSSP, AHPCSA, SANC).
- Treatment facilities should be registered under the Prevention of and Treatment for Substance Abuse Act, 70 of 2008, where applicable.
What we verify
- Service name, contact details, and website are reachable.
- Registration numbers are checked against the relevant council's public register where applicable.
- The service has provided a working contact email.
What we cannot guarantee
- Quality of care or treatment outcomes.
- Current pricing, availability, or waiting times.
- Suitability for any individual situation.
- Ongoing compliance with clinical or regulatory standards.
Free and paid listings
Basic listings are free. Featured listings are paid and clearly marked with a Featured badge. Paid placement does not affect editorial coverage. See pricing on the submission page.
Updating a listing
Service owners can email listings@bridge.project.za to request changes. We will verify and update within 5 working days.
Reporting an unsafe or misleading listing
Users can report concerns to report@bridge.project.za. We investigate every report. A listing may be removed where we find evidence of misrepresentation, unregistered practice, harm to users, or non-response to verification requests.
