Accessibility
We aim for the site to be usable by as many South Africans as possible.
- Plain language. We avoid jargon and explain clinical terms when used.
- Mobile-friendly. Pages are designed to work on small screens and slower connections.
- Low data. Images are compressed; pages are kept lean.
- Alt text. Meaningful images include descriptive alt text.
- Readable contrast. Colours are checked for WCAG AA contrast.
- Multilingual goal. Core handouts will progressively be made available in isiZulu, isiXhosa, Afrikaans, Sesotho, and English.
